Thurs., August 26th - Picnic In The Park . Pack your lunch
and head out to Renwick Community Park. It is a great park with a smaller padded section for the younger ones and
a larger play area for the older kiddies. There are bathrooms, a gazebo with picnic tables and plenty of trees for a shaded
spot on the grass.
Mon., August 30th - Home Playdate for the 4-and-under crowd
hosted by Kelly W. Get out of the house for the morning and come play with friends. Snacks will be provided for the kids and
MOMs. Pregnany MOMs and prospective members are welcome. Please RSVP to Kelly W.
Thurs., Sept. 2nd - Phillips Park Zoo - Gather the
kids, pack a lunch and head out to Phillips Park Zoo for a day of fun that is FREE! After checking out the animals, we can
all enjoy a picnic lunch at the covered picnic tables or on the grass. There's also a playground for the little ones to get
out any extra energy.
Fri., Sept. 10th - Lunch at Charlie's Restaurant at Clow
Airport. Bring the kiddies to Charlie's Restaurant for lunch where we can munch away as we watch the personal airplanes take
off and land. We can meet and look around the free aviation museum and then enjoy lunch together.
Sun., Sept. 12th - Bolingbrook Pathways Parade - Join
WCMOTC families for an afternoon of fun and celebration. "Stars and Stripes Forever" is this year's theme so be sure
to deck the family out in Red, White and Blue and decorate those wagons and strollers too! Club members should check
their inbox for a special Evite with details and additional information.
Wed., Sept. 15th - Picnic In The Park - We don't
know how much longer we'll be able to picnic outside, so let's take advantage of the good weather while it's still possible.
Pack your lunch and head out to Village Green Park in downtown Plainfield. Its a great park with a playground, picnic tables,
plenty of grass and bathrooms.
Fri., Sept. 17th- WCMOTC Resale Set Up and Pre-shop for WCMOTC Members -
A busy day for club members but the rewards are that WCMOTC members can shop the great bargains before the public! If you
are not yet a member of WCMOTC, JOIN TODAY to take advantage of this great opportunity! See the
Membership page for details about joining - you will need to be a member before September 17th to preshop.
Sat., Sept. 18th - WCMOTC Fall/Winter Resale - Be sure to shop early
for the best deals on everything you need for your children this Fall! Visit the Resale Page for more details.
Mon., Sept. 20th - MOMs' Night Out at Simply Homemade -
Let's make our lives a little easier by eliminating the question "What's for dinner?". We will meet at Simply Homemade, where
we will chat, eat, drink, and oh yeah, prepare 5-12 meals without the worry about prep and clean-up! Please RSVP to Kelly
W. by Wed., Sept. 15th because space is limited.
Fri., Sept. 24th - BUNCO!!! - Our
hostess, Jennifer M. hosts this month's crazy night of BUNCO fun. This marks the close of the
2nd season for the Bunco Babes. But it doesn't stop - there's still time to join in on the fun - contact Jen A. if you'd
like to become a sub. In addition to the Bunco Babes, a new BUNCO group has been formed, which will start in the
October so there will be lots of subbing opportunities!
Mon., August 23rd- WCMOTC Monthly Meeting - Get your cameras ready!
We will have professional photographer Jonathan Robson present us with tips on camera settings and how to take your
own beautiful pictures of your little ones. See the "Meeting Info" page for more details.
